In spite of all the bad things with which we are continuously assaulted, things are looking up.

  1. It IS pretty neat,Mr. C
I have to wonder, though, if the dots for the Koch Brothers, Dick Cheney and The Royals would be bouncing off the chart. Boing!

  2. This was fascinating in the extreme. The one point that comes to be is that resources could be a big tripping point. Not only metals for factories and lithium for electronic power cells but basic fresh water. I actually believe some sort of international body, with powers close to that of a federal government, is needed to coordinate activities and protect common folks from huge multinational corporations that has a much power and wealth as some countries.

  3. Trish... they're out of the room they're so far off the charts.

BB... a global thinker. Some folks in this dumb-ass country would call you a communist.

Barb, Punch... danke. Oh, BTW Punch, it's Saturday. Do you know what day.... nevermind.

  4. I'm not really getting a positive vibe from the Lifespan-Income connection. Maybe I just need more income.

  5. BB... Yo!

Intelli... the same thought occurred to me. $400 back in the day is pretty much equal to $40,000 today. So, we're living longer but are just as broke.

  8. Another wonderful find. Thanks. I enjoyed it. Only thing is that I am a pessimist and I wonder if the world will continue to advance together as he predicts or whether we have reached the top of the curve and are on the way down again.

  9. Very cool presentation! Usually optimistic, I feel a tipping point creeping up -- his bubbles bursting?? Our bubbles bursting, again?? Just a niggle of unease with what we are becoming as we have more and live longer. Then I laughed because George Carlin's "stuff" routine ran through my head.....we just got too much STUFF!
