The Duck Shoot

He felt lucky to be invited to the annual duck shoot at the corporate plantation.  The guests milled around drinking beer and talking as the shooters took their pot shots at the terrified birds winging for their lives to escape the explosion of death.   Disgusted, he asked for his birds live and took them home.

This is a Mr. Knowitall (who really does) 55 flash fiction piece to meet his challenge. You write, you link to him and let him know you wrote and linked and he will come and kick your ass into the weekend for playing. (Stolen from the Walking Man)

    1. Yeah, Beach Bum already suggested he should have been there to shoot one of his friends in the face.

  10. I was expecting Cheney to make an appearance, too. I do believe this piece revealed your soft side. Well done! (Um, not the duck... I prefer that juicy. With apples and onions.)

That was nice. Good thing he wasn't at a boar hunting event. What do you do then?

    1. Oh, that's a whole other story. People would pay to see someone trying to catch a boar and give it to you.
