We Don't Need No Stinking Recession!

It's true that in hard times people party hardy. Hemlines go up, beer sales go up, the entertainment industry thrives. People want to forget about their troubles and live life to the fullest. To prove that he has true leadership abilities, President Obama sets an example for all of us to follow this holiday weekend. It's Labor Day. The day set aside to recognize and reward those hard working Amerikans who make it all happen. I say we follow the president's example and make it a weekend to remember.

  2. I like your new banner. You work on that while you were on vacation? I see Punch has already counted in on it.

I'm excited about my weekend because there's big book festival with over 300 writers so I plan on going to lots of readings and collecting more books that I love but don't need. Plus I've got some of my peeps coming into town. I will take time for a cocktail or two for sure.

Enjoy your weekend. Remember, don't act up in the Publix.

  3. Banner is ever evolving. Of course, a big pair of tits would have satisfied Punch.

Peach... Sounds like fun. I occasionally go to things like that for screenwriters but rarely get anything out of it. So, a martini or two will have to suffice.
I'm not allowed back in Publix for a while. It looks like Dollar General and Sav A Lot for the time being. I know there's no use in trying to figure out who the martini glass was molded after there as every woman I've seen is supersized beyond Big Gulp! Can you say "bucket"?

  4. I am shocked, shocked I tell you that you posted this header without the customary content warning. What kind of pervert are you...other than the Publix kind? This is what I will remember this weekend.

  5. Well dang, JJ. I just got hyped from your "anything goes" Dutch post and figured I'd go for it. Although, thanks for tipping me off as to exactly what it is you do for a living, you work for Publix. Shocked, shocked, is exactly what they said.

  8. You must have worked yourself long and hard while finding the pictures for your new banner. I admire that in a man.

As for the video clip, sir, all I can say is that Her Majesty the Queen would never be seen behaving in such a deplorable way.

  9. Don't get me started Walking Man. What pisses me off is all of the people laboring on Labor Day.

Thanks for stopping by JennyMac. The look will change by tomorrow.

Simon... Do you suppose Her Majesty likes her new ipod? I'll bet secretly, late at night in her bed chamber, she does the Twist to the Beasty Boys.
