The best laid plans of mice and men amount to nothing when,
the Fates grab you by the scrotes and move the song to
higher notes.
The home is sold the move is neigh and days quite busy as
I
struggle to cope with uncertainties and hope of the new life
awaiting this old goat.
Mr. C has sold his house and must move during the
holidays, as luck would have it. So, I
will be out of sorts for awhile and not likely to post but I will try to stop
by your place to say hello when I can.
In the meantime… Have the most loving and peaceful holiday.
oy hope the move goes well...what a busy time to go through it as well....

i like the holiday header too...
ReplyDeleteI'd say "happy moving" but coming from me that would sound sarcastic. Hope all goes well!
ReplyDeleteWell....Boop Boop BeDoop Mr. C
ReplyDeleteI'm honored to have a contribution out of you then.
Thanks Bro...Loved your moving lament.
And those best laid plans Do indeed go gang aft aglay!
Thanks for playing, and have a Kick Ass Week-End.
I was going to say Kick Ass Packing Week-End, but that didn't sound right.
I feel for you. Two years ago we moved with our two week old baby the day after Christmas. Ours was a move to a house with a better layout in a better neighborhood. I hope things go smoothly and work out for the best. :)
ReplyDeleteI remember moving during the holidays. Big pain. I'll stop by to see how you are doing via blogger.
ReplyDeleteI finally watched the movie Of Mice and Men. I was a hold-out because I found the book to be so sad.
In this economy, you have been blessed! Enjoy moving - remember to purge and let go of things (I actually like moving for this reason!) I'll say "Merry Christmas" now then.
ReplyDeleteMay your move go smoove!
ReplyDeleteWishing you as painless a move as possible. Having just gone through the same thing, I feel for you, brother. Blessed Christmas wherever you be.
ReplyDeleteyikes... happy moving, may all go as planned.
ReplyDeleteWhat new pasture are you moving to? *sigh* Change is necessary i suppose to keep us on out toes. Back at ya with the holiday thing.
ReplyDeleteMoving is never fun and I have done my share! thanks-
ReplyDeleteIt's time to winnow out the chaff! Hope the move goes smoothly. And happy holidays to you.
ReplyDeleteLoved the "scrotes" line - an 'elevated' theme, for sure. (LOL)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes with the move--change is always unsettling, and the older one grows, the more so.
ReplyDeleteI'll be waiting to find out where you went. Good luck wenting there.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on selling the house, and good luck with the move.
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly a lot to have going on this time of year. Hope your move goes well and this is a great change.
ReplyDeleteHope you have an uneventful move and the new beginning brings good things :)
ReplyDeleteOh, good luck with the move. I hope all goes well and you have a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeletesort of good news bad news?...merry merry...
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody. It's been a long and arduous journey. I'll tell you all about it next year.
ReplyDeleteBummer. In 1971, we moved to Georgia three days before Christmas, and it was a lousy time of year to move. I sure hope the "old goat" is moving somewhere with lots of green pastures. Good luck, and a very Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your move and upcoming changes.

ReplyDeleteGood luck on the move. What a hassle that can be...
ReplyDeleteThe things I hate doing most:
ReplyDelete1.) Weddings
2.) Funerals
3.) Moving- the one exception to this rule would be me leaving the suckass neighborhood I live in now.
Hope everything is going well.
It may be a tough journey, but it will make a great story when you come out the other side.
ReplyDeleteNobody tells a story better than you
Much Love,
T
Ack! Moving over the holidays.
ReplyDeleteDoesn't seem right, does it?
Stay well and keep that sense of humor of yours!
