It seems that at no time in our nation's history is that point more poignant than today, witness the Department of Homeland Security, an over-bloated bureaucracy that is literally trampling our 4th Amendment rights.
But Hark! There is a glimmer of hope. For in the end, civil disobedience will prevail if we each do our part.
Here's one of the most novel ways of disobedience that I have come across, 4th Amendment Underwear!
Metal imprinted underwear that sends a pretty clear message. Great stocking stuffers for the traveler in your family.

ReplyDeleteI have a dilemma, though. I've done a load of traveling in the past five years and, despite noting multiple inadequacies on the part of TSA, I also feel safer as a result of increased screening. So greater safety measures are obviously needed, but TSA is clearly a bloated and troubled system and one that is, therefore, ripe for abuses.
What changes would you recommend?
Nance... good question. However, there have been no incidents of terrorism in other nation's airlines so whatever they are doing seems to be sufficient. I don't read about their people being groped but I could be wrong.
