A Few Deep Breaths

When a young man in the military, my heart stopped.  Just briefly, but it stopped.
Alarmed, I went to the medic who made me run in place.  It worked.
Sometimes, it still stops.
A few deep breaths gets it going again.
In time, I've learned that a few deep breaths helps a lot of situations.

  1. A few deep breaths and 00 12 gauge shells can solve many problems. You could use Zen as a back up plan.

  8. A step back and a deep breath can put lots of things into perspective. Too bad it can't always re-start the heart.

  9. True, a few deep breaths can be a one-size-fits-all solution to many problems: the stopping of the heart, a slow driver in front of you when you're already late for an appointment...

  11. I sorta like it when my breath is taken away. Usually the heart pumps like hell to make up for it. Ah Yeah, take my breath away.
